Cone Cat Craft for Kids

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Template

Print and cut out the template patterns. Then trace them onto colored craft paper and cut them out neatly with scissors.

Step 2: Assemble the Cat’s Face

Glue the inner ear pieces onto the ears of the cat’s head. Then attach the googly eyes and glue the small nose right between them.

Step 3: Form the Paper Cone

Take the half-circle piece and roll it into a cone shape. Apply glue along the edge to secure it. This will be the cat’s body.

Step 4: Attach the Head

Glue the cat’s head to the front top side of the cone.

Step 5: Make the Broom

Glue the yellow broom bristles to the brown stick to make a mini paper broom.

Step 6: Add the Broom to the Cat

Cut two small slits (about 1 cm each) on the bottom sides of the cone, opposite each other. Slide the broomstick through so it looks like the cat is sitting on it!

Step 7: Add the Finishing Touch

Glue the hat on top of your cat’s head — and your adorable cone cat craft is complete!
