My kids LOVE Halloween, the spookier the better and these Floating Eyeball Jello Shots are the perfect amount of spooky without being gory or too scary. My kids love helping me make them because they are so simple to make. The hardest part is waiting for them to set up in the fridge!

Non-Alcoholic Floating Eyeball Jello Shots

  • Serves: 12
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Chill Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

Bottle of ginger ale, cups, a mixing bowl, a box of gelatin and a bowl of eyeballs. Non-Alcoholic Floating Eyeball Jello Shots
  • 1 ½ cups chilled white grape juice
  • 1 ½ envelopes of unflavored powdered gelatin
  • ¾ cup chilled ginger ale or sprite
  • Gummy eyeballs

How to Make Non-Alcoholic Floating Eyeball Jello Shots

  • Pour ¾ cup of grape juice into a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over the top of it.
  • Allow the grape juice and gelatin to sit for about 10 minutes just so the gelatin will soften up.
  • Once the 10 minutes is done, microwave the mixture for 20 seconds to dissolve the remaining gelatin

  • Pour the remaining grape juice, ginger ale, and gelatin into the bowl, and whisk until all ingredients are fully combined.

  • Pour the juice into shot glasses making them about halfway full or at different levels.
  • Place them in the refrigerator and allow them to start setting, this takes about 30 – 45 minutes.

  • Once the shot glasses start to set enough to suspend the eyeballs, put the eyeballs into the glasses, pressing them up against the front of the glass, then slowly fill the remaining glass with the remaining liquid.
  • Place the glasses back into the fridge and chill for at least 2 hours. These can be made in up to a couple of days in advance.

  • If you want to make these boozy, you can add 1 cup of vodka when you pour the remaining grape juice, ginger ale, and gelatin into the bowl.

These spooky Non-Alcoholic Floating Eyeball Jello Shots are the best way to add some fun to your Halloween this year!

Ingredients
