How to Make an Origami Popsicle
Follow these easy step-by-step directions to fold and decorate your popsicle.
Step 1:
Select a colored craft paper for the popsicle base and different colored papers for the cream, stick, and sprinkle parts. Cut the main origami paper into a square (about 10 cm x 10 cm). Trace and cut out the other shapes.
Step 2:
Fold the square paper in half diagonally both ways, then unfold.
Step 3:
Flip the paper over and make vertical and horizontal folds in half, then unfold again.

Step 4:
Make mountain folds along the diagonal creases and valley folds along the vertical and horizontal creases.
Step 5:
Flatten the pattern neatly.
Step 6:
Hold the top right flap and fold its diagonal side toward the middle of the square.

Step 7:
Fold that same section in half again.
Step 8:
Fold it one more time in half for a third fold.
Step 9:
Repeat these same folds on the left side.

Step 10:
Fold the current right flap inward and line it up with the edge of the stick piece.
Step 11:
Fold that right flap in half again.
Step 12:
Do the same thing with the left flap.

Step 13:
Fold the top corner down by about one centimeter.
Step 14:
Flip the paper over to the front side — your popsicle is taking shape!
Step 15:
Glue the cream and stick cutouts onto the popsicle base. Then add the sprinkle cutouts to the cream part for a cute finishing touch.
