Elephant Corner Bookmark Craft
This elephant craft is a great way to keep kids entertained while helping them practice cutting, folding, and gluing skills. Plus, it’s a great way to encourage creativity and reading!
Supplies Needed
To make your elephant corner bookmark, you’ll need:

- Colored craft papers (grey and pink)
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- Sharpies
How to Make an Elephant Corner Bookmark
Follow these simple steps to create your own elephant bookmark:
Step 1:
Select grey and pink craft papers for your elephant. Print and cut out the template patterns, which include the bookmark base, elephant’s head, ear, inner ear, tail, blush spot, and leg space. Trace the pieces onto your colored paper and cut them out neatly.
Step 2:
Glue the inner ear piece onto the outer ear piece.
Step 3:
Glue the blush spot onto the elephant’s cheek and attach the ear to the back side of the head (the opposite side of the trunk).
Step 4:
Use a black Sharpie to draw the eyes and mouth line.
Step 5:
Take the bookmark base and fold it diagonally in half.
Step 6:
Fold the top corner of the top layer down to meet the opposite side.
Step 7:
Fold the right bottom corner up and join it to the right side of the top corner.
Step 8:
Tuck the open side of the right flap inside the base pocket.
Step 9:
Flatten the tucked part neatly.
Step 10:
Repeat the same for the left flap to complete your bookmark base.
Step 11:
Round the open corner using scissors.
Step 12:
Flip the bookmark over to the front side.
Step 13:
Glue the small square (the elephant’s legs) in the middle of one closed side. Then attach the tail to the open side adjacent to the legs.
Step 14:
Glue the head to the opposite side of the tail.
Step 15:
Use a Sharpie to outline your elephant’s features and add any finishing touches!
