Tips Tricks and FAQs

  • You may want to use your electric mixer to beat the dough for a couple of minutes before adding the eggs. Beating it beforehand will release more of the heat so you don’t risk scrambling your eggs as you add them!
  • You can use a heavy-duty Ziploc bag as a pastry bag if you don’t have one handy. Just snip the corner of the bag and drop your open star tip right in.

Should I cook my churros all at once?

You may want to cook these churros in a few batches!

It’s easier to pipe the churros into the air fryer if they each have a little space, and since they cook so fast it won’t take too long to do a few batches.

But be careful, these are so yummy that you might not be able to resist the first batch by the time the second one comes out!

Storage

You can store these churros right on your counter for about 2 days if kept in an airtight container!
