  • Printer paper
  • Something to color it with: markers, colored pencils, paint, crayons
  • Tape or craft glue

How To Make A Fish Template Craft

Directions

Blank printable fish template
  • Start this fun fish craft by downloading the fish template printable to your computer or phone.
  • Then, print how many you will need off. Make sure your kids invite their friends to join you!
  • Once printed, the first step is to color each piece of the fish using whatever tool you choose. (I.E. crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.)
  • Next, you will cut out each piece of the fish template.
  • After it is cut out, tape or glue each piece together, following the pattern on the corner of the fish template printable.
  • Once the glue dries, it is ready to use for playing and imagining! 

Fish Ideas for Kids

To make your fish last longer, go ahead and laminate it! Then your kids can play with it for days on end and it won’t get ruined. They can take it in the bath, to the backyard, or in their everyday play.

If you want to turn this craft into a game, just leave off the tail and play pin the tail on fish! Cut out different shapes of tails and let each kid try to attach it in the best way! 

Make your fish shine by adding some glitter to the little stripes on the side of it! Or you could add a googly eye to give it texture!

Laminate your fish, grab some string and a rock and make your fish a diving toy! Your kids will love throwing it into the pool and trying to get it fast!

Play hide and seek! Your kids will have a blast hiding the fish around the house and searching for it.

How Do I Print A PDF?

You’ll need a program that supports PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is a great option. Open the program, click file then print. Select your printer and the number of copies you want to print. Be sure you click double-sided if you want it to print on both sides. 

Can I Resell These?

You may not resell any printable or template that you find on our website or received in your email. You may use them for class parties, at church, at home, or in the classroom. You may get these printed at an office supply store or copy center at your own expense.
