What You’ll Need

To make your own Handprint Frankenstein, you’ll need:

  • Colored paper
  • Pencil (for tracing)

How to Make a Handprint Frankenstein

  1. Trace & Cut- Use the included template or trace your child’s hand to cut out the pieces for Frankenstein’s head and body. IF you are using your child’s hand be sure they have the three middle fingers together while tracing the hand for the body.

  1. Add Hair & Face– Use a black marker to color the fingers for the hair, then draw on a nose and mouth. Glue on the eyes and bolts.

  1. Create the Shirt & Pants– Glue the shirt and pants onto the closed handprint to build Frankenstein’s body. Add the strip detail to the shirt for an extra fun touch.
  2. Put It All Together– Finish by attaching the head to the top of the body—and just like that, you’ve got your very own friendly Frankenstein!
