Supplies You’ll Need

  • Handprint Bat printable template- Grab it below or grab it from our membership library!
  • Colored craft paper
  • Pencil – to trace the template
  • A pair of scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Black sharpie

Instructions

Cut-out pieces for a handprint bat craft, including wings, body, eyes, ears, and fangs.

Step 1:
Choose thick construction paper for the bat. Then use our printable hand template or trace your child’s hand directly onto the paper. Trace two handprints for the wings and cut out the rest of the bat shapes.

Step 2:
Glue the inner ear cutouts onto the bat’s ears.

Step 3:
Draw eyes on the eye cutouts with your black sharpie or use googly eyes. Glue the eyes to the bat’s face and use the marker to draw a smile.

Add the blush spots to the cheeks and glue on the fangs under the mouth line.
