Free printable Valentine's Day Cards

I have fond memories of Valentine’s Day, especially as a kid. I loved going around the room and putting candy, cards, and even cute non-candy goodies in everyone’s homemade mailboxes.

I know my kids share my love for this holiday. They love giving, and, of course, they love all the candy they get. Help them spread some Valentine’s cheer with these fun and free Printable Valentine’s Day Cards!

How to Use These Free Printable Valentine’s Day Cards for Kids

Start by downloading this free printable below. Once you’ve downloaded it, print out the pages. There are 12 cards, each with a unique and adorable picture and saying on it.

After you’ve printed off however many copies you need, then you can cut them out. I love using my straight edge paper cutter for projects like this!

Now that you have them cut out, your kids can write a message on the back for each of their classmates addressing who the card is for and from. If they’re feeling festive, they could even draw a little picture to accompany their message.

Printable Valentine’s Day Card Printing Tips and Tricks

  • For the best results, be sure to print your Valentine’s Day Cards on a heavier paper, like card stock. This will ensure they hold their shape and look cuter for longer!
  • If your kids are also passing out candy with their card, they can attach the card to the treat. Start by hole punching one corner of the card (for Valentine’s Day especially, I like to use a heart shaped hole puncher). Loop a string through the hole and tie it to the candy or treat bag

More Valentine’s Day Cards Ideas

If your kids want to get even more detailed and creative in their gift, they could make an easy Valentine’s Day craft to go along with their card. My kids love this Valentine’s Theme Gnome Papercraft because after they’re done making it, they get to use their imaginations and play with it.

Your kids would also like making this Heart Stitch Craft. Again, this could easily be added to the gift card above. Or this craft could be a great gift for their teacher that will be sure to stick out among the rest.

Or, instead of a craft and a card, your kids could make a delicious treat to share with their classmates! This Valentine’s M&M Hot Chocolate Bomb Recipe is sure to be a winner! To go a little extra, your kids can wrap the bombs in a cute treat bag and put them in a cute mug as an extra special gift for their teacher!

How Do I Print A PDF?

You’ll need a program that supports PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is a great option. Open the program, click file, then print. Select your printer and the number of copies you want to print. Be sure you click double-sided if you want it to print on both sides.

  1. I signed up to get the hedgehog template. Got signed up for AirTable (?) too but then could not for the life of me find the hedgehog. Found a penguin and an owl (I think it was).
