Grinch Felt Ornament

Finished grinch felt ornament with the template on a white background with a green border.

Long before the Elf On The Shelf, my kids had a Grinch In A Pinch. Our stuffed grinch has watched over my kids every Christmas, ensuring they are doing good deeds and treating everyone with kindness. I love the idea of having a miniature grinch that can hang on my tree or anywhere a grinch is needed to keep watch on kids.

This craft ornament is perfect for kids just learning how to use a needle and thread. Felt is the perfect fabric for them to try out their stitching skills. With some felt and some stuffing, any kid can create a pint-size grinch perfect for keeping or sharing, helping their heart grow a size or two.

Tips and Tricks

  • With the leftover felt, create boots or a hat to keep the grinch warm.
