My kids find jellyfish so interesting! They love going to see them at the aquarium and sharing all sorts of fun facts with me. Did you know that jellyfish don’t have a brain, bones, or even a heart? Crazy right?!

If your child like jellyfish too, you’ll want to take a look at our Jellyfish Headband Craft. This craft is so much fun and will have your kids bouncing around like jellyfish in no time!

One of the best things about our Jellyfish Headband Craft is how simple and easy it is. With only a few supplies needed, it’s inexpensive! Plus, you probably have all the supplies around your house already.

Our printable template makes this Jellyfish Headband Craft an easy choice. You just have to download, print, color, and cut! This also means that there is less mess for you to clean up (you can thank me later). This craft is the perfect activity if you’re looking for a quick and easy craft for your kids.

Looking for another quick and easy craft to start with your family? Grab our Animal ABC Letter Set. Just print and let your kids color and create fun animals out of letters. They also have the chance to practice writing their letters. The best part is that you can use this craft to teach about the sounds of letters and the order of the alphabet!

While making their Jellyfish Headband, your kids get to work on their fine motor skills! As they cut, color, and glue, they are working on strengthening the muscles in their hands and improving their fine motor abilities. They are also learning how to get creative and use their imaginations.

There are so many good things that your kids can learn from crafting, including:

  • Self-regulation skills
  • Social skills
  • Self-expression
  • Critical thinking
  • And so much more!

More Jellyfish Ideas

Take your Jellyfish Headband to visit your local aquarium! Make sure you go visit all the jellyfish. Bring a pen or pencil to write about all the fun facts you learn on the back of your headband. Can’t visit the aquarium? There are tons of videos and books online you can check out, like this one!

Jellyfish are actually so relaxing to watch! They just slowly bounce around in the water and it can be really calming. I like to turn on this live jellyfish from Monterey Bay Aquarium while I get some work done. It’s paired with some relaxing music, which makes it a great de-stresser.

If you are looking for a laugh, look no further! These fish jokes are hilarious. Like what did the shark eat with his peanut butter sandwich? Jellyfish! The best part is that you can print these out and share them with your kids, students, or friends.
