Kids love rabbits. When we go to the zoo, we often see them hopping around from exhibit to exhibit. My kids always shout to tell me about them and want to chase them as well. This free template for a rabbit headband craft is a great way to allow them to play pretend and be rabbits jumping around!

This rabbit headband craft is so simple and so darling! Your kids can make it their own and be as simple, or complex, as they want to! All they have to do to create this rabbit headband is to color and cut it out! Easy right? Or if they want, they can use colored paper to trace the template and make their own headband with a few more steps.

There are a lot of ways for your kids to add their own ideas to their headbands. They can add pipe cleaners for the ears, cotton balls for the tails, or glitter for the tummy of the rabbit! If your child chooses to trace the template to make their own headbands, they’ll be able to choose any colors they want for their headband! If they choose to just cut it out, they can use markers or crayons to make it unique!

Directions

  • First, download the rabbit headband craft template and print it out so that you have everything you need. 

With this template there are 2 great options. 

For the black and white version:

  • Print it off.
  • If your child wants to, they can color it with markers or crayons.

  • Trace the headband on the construction paper.

How Do I Print A PDF?

You’ll need a program that supports PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is a great option. Open the program, click file then print. Select your printer and the number of copies you want to print. Be sure you click double-sided if you want it to print on both sides.
