You’ll need:

  • 1 large green oval for the head

  • Optional green “half-circle” accents for the top of each eye
  • 1 pink tongue piece

Step 2: Build the Frog’s Head

Glue the two smaller green circles to the top of the large green oval. These will be the frog’s eye bumps.

Step 3: Assemble the Eyes

Glue each small black circle onto a large white circle to make two big cartoon eyes.
If you’re using the green eye accents, glue them behind the white circles so they peek out along the top edge.

Step 4: Add the Eyes to the Head

Glue the finished eyes onto the green eye bumps. Angle them a little if you want your frog to look extra silly or surprised.

Step 5: Give Your Frog a Big Smile

Use a marker to draw a curved smile across the lower half of the frog’s face. You can make it wide and goofy, small and sweet, or even add a little smirk.

Step 6: Draw Freckles and Nostrils

With a green or black marker, add two tiny dots for nostrils and a few small dots on each cheek for freckles. This is where kids really start to see their frog “come to life.”

Step 7: Add the Tongue

Glue the pink tongue under the smile so it looks like it’s sticking out of the frog’s mouth. You can make it straight, tilted to one side, or even trim it shorter if you’d like.

Step 8: Let It Dry and Display

Once the glue is dry, your paper frog craft is ready to hang on the wall, use on a bulletin board, or tape to a craft stick for an easy frog puppet.
