Directions

The template includes the head (including the neck), beak, legs, and eye. Select a size you like, trace the template patterns on the selected paper, and cut them out.
- Glue the eye onto the head and use a black Sharpie to draw detail on the beak.
- Attach the beak to the front side of the head, right in front of the eye.
- Trace and cut out a hand shape. Attach the flamingo head pattern on the palm side of the hand. The fingers will be the flamingo’s wings. Keep the thumb pointed downwards.
- Attach the leg cutouts to the bottom side (thumb) of the hand shape.
- Glue a few craft feathers to the top few fingers of the hand to complete the flamingo
Tips and Tricks
- If your kids want to play with their flamingo and you want it a bit more sturdy, glue the pieces to a section of a cereal box and then cut them out again before attaching everything together.
- Add googly eyes instead of paper ones! Googly eyes make everything better!
- Experiment with where you place the beak, it might change the look of your flamingo!
- Add as many feathers as you want!
