Alligator Papercraft

This adorable alligator papercraft is a fun project to do with the kids. It is simple to make and might actually make you want to pet an alligator. 

Paper Alligator Craft

I love how crafts can make the most ferocious animals look so cute and cuddly! I mean, my Paper Bag Lion Puppet is adorable, and this alligator papercraft is just the cutest! You will love creating this simple craft with your kids again and again. It is as easy as downloading the template, cutting, pasting and adding the final details to your project. 

Supplies

  1. Colored paper
  2. Craft glue
  3. Pencil
  4. Scissors
  5. Template (Download Below)

How to make your alligator papercraft

  • Select 3 different shades of green colored papers and pink colored paper to craft the paper alligator. 
  • Trace the legs and body patterns on the medium dark green colored paper, trace the belly pattern on the light green colored paper and trace the scale borders on the dark shade of green colored paper. 
  • Cut out the traced patterns nicely. You can cut out the eyes directly from the template. 
  • Attach the scale borders along the top side of the tail part and the backside of the alligator body pattern.  
  • Attach 2 legs (L shaped) on the bottom side and the 2 other legs on both sides of the body pattern. 
  • Attach the belly cutout on the bottom side of the body base.
  • Attach the eyes and blush on the head part of the body base. 
  • Use a sharpie to trace lines along the belly part. Also, use a sharpie to draw the nose and the mouth of the alligator. 
  • Cut out tiny triangle shapes from white paper and attach them along the mouth line.

You’ll need a program that supports PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is a great option. Open the program, click file then print. Select your printer and the number of copies you want to print. Be sure you click double-sided if you want it to print on both sides. 

Can I Resell These?

You may not resell any printable or template that you find on our website or in our resource library. You may use them for class parties, at church, at home, or in the classroom. You may get these printed at an office supply store or copy center at your own expense.

Instructions
