How to make Dinosaur puppet paper crafts

  • Select different, fun colored papers for the dinosaur paper crafts. We’re using green, orange, purple, brown, blue colored papers.
  • Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut out the patterns nicely.
  • Make sure to trace the spots and scale on different colored papers than the papers selected for the body base patterns of the dinosaurs.
  • Attach the spot cutouts on the triceratops and the stegosaurus pattern cutouts.
  • Attach the scale patterns on the backside of the T-Rex and the stegosaurus body patterns.
  • Attach the horn cutouts on the front side of the triceratops’ head cutout.
  • Next, attach the head pattern of the triceratops on the front side of its body base.
  • Craft the other dinosaur patterns similarly; simply trace, cut out and paste the patterns to craft a puppet.
  • Connect the papercraft dinosaurs on popsicle sticks to complete the craft.
