Virginia Opossum
The Virginia Opossum are interesting creatures that look like a cat and a rat at the same time. They live in woodlands throughout North America and prefer to live around water. A female Virginia Opossum has between 5 to 20 babies per litter and they are the size of kidney beans at birth. The babies crawl up their mother’s fur and into their pouch. It is good that they have large liters because Virginia Opossum only lives to be around 3 years old.
Vole
Voles are also known as field mice or meadow mice depending on where you live. They do not live very long, only 6 months but they can do a lot of damage in that little amount of time. They burrow and chew up tree roots which can kill crops. Voles have similar characteristics to mice but are much larger.

The Viper Boa is not actually a viper, it is a boa constrictor. They contain no venom whatsoever. The Viper Boa is a very short and stocky snake that is very slow moving. New Guinea is its natural habitat and the people living there call it the lazy snake.
Vampire Bat
Vampire bats are native to Mexico and South America and can be found in caves, mines, and abandoned buildings of the region. Vampire Bats get their name because they suck the blood from animals, mostly cows, pigs, and horses. The animal they are feeding off of rarely even knowns the bat is latched on because they are asleep.
