Heart Flamingo
Animal crafts are always a hit if your kids are anything like mine! We basically have a zoo at this point.

How to Make a Heart Flamingo
Supplies
- Construction Paper
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Craft glue
- Sharpie or gel pen
- Scissors

Directions
- Print and cut out the template patterns. Select colored papers for the heart flamingo craft. The template includes a head (including neck), a big heart (body), small hearts (wings), beak, and legs. Trace the template patterns on the selected colored papers and cut out the traced pattern.
- Take the small heart cutouts and fold them in half symmetrically.
- Attach a half-folded on the big heart’s any one half-side.
- Attach the 2nd folded heart on the other half side of the big heart.
- Attach the 3rd folded heart in the middle of the first 2 folded hearts. These folded hearts are the wings of the papercraft flamingo.
- Attach the beak to the front side of the head part.
- Attach the neck side of the flamingo figure on the top round edge of the big heart.
- Attach the leg cutouts on the pointy side of the big heart.
- Use a sharpie to draw the beak pattern and to draw the eye of the papercraft flamingo figure.
Tips and Tricks
- Let your kids be creative with their flamingos. You might end up with a bright yellow flamingo! Your kids are going to love making their flamingos their own.
- For a fun touch, use glitter or shimmer paper!
- For your littlest kids, you might need to help with the cutting so the templates fit together.

How Do I Print A PDF?
You’ll need a program that supports PDFs. Adobe Acrobat is a great option. Open the program, click file then print. Select your printer and the number of copies you want to print. Be sure you click double-sided if you want it to print on both sides.
