How to Make A Heart Handprint Craft

Follow these easy step by step directions to make your own heart handprint craft today!

Directions

  • Print and cut out the template patterns. You can also make this craft without using the template. Select 2 or 3 different colored craft papers for this craft. Trace the hand and heart patterns from 2 different colors so that the hand patterns are visible on the heart pattern.

  • You will need 2 handprint cutouts for this craft.
  • Try to form a heart shape with the handprint cutouts by joining their fingers side by side; and by placing the handprints slightly diagonally.
  • Overlap the fingers by weaving them over and under as neatly as possible.
  • Once you’re happy with the heart shape, cut out another heart shape from a different colored paper. This heart should be big enough to fit the handprinted heart.

  • Attach the handprinted heart on the prepared heart.
  • Use different colored and printed papers for different textures.

  • • Craft glue
  • • Sharpie or gel pen
  • • A pair of scissors

Instructions

make this craft without using the template. Select 2 or 3 different construction papers for this craft. Trace the hand and heart patterns from 2 different colors so that the hand patterns are visible on the heart pattern.
