2026 April Come Follow Me Primary Talks
Week #1 March 30- April 5: Easter
Junior- Jesus loves us so much. In Gethsemane, He prayed and suffered for our sins, pain, and our mistakes. Then He died on the cross so we can live with Heavenly Father again. Because of Jesus, we can be forgiven, feel better when we’re sad, and someday be resurrected. I love Jesus, and I’m thankful for what He did for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- During the week of Easter, we learn about the most important thing Jesus Christ ever did for us, His Atonement. In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed and suffered for all of our pains, sins, and sorrows. Later, He was nailed to the cross and gave His life for us. He did this because He loves us more than we can understand. The scriptures teach us what His sacrifice means. Isaiah said that Jesus would “bear our griefs” and “carry our sorrows.” Alma taught that He suffered every pain so He would know how to help us. And the Doctrine and Covenants says He suffered so we would not have to suffer if we repent. Because of Jesus’s sacrifice, we can be forgiven, be healed, be comforted, and live with Heavenly Father again. When life feels hard, we can remember that Jesus understands exactly how we feel. He is always there to help us. I am grateful that Jesus Christ suffered and died for me, and I love Him for His perfect sacrifice. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2 April 6-12: Exodus 7-13
Junior- A long time ago, the Israelites had the Passover to help them remember Jesus. Today, we have the sacrament to help us remember Him. When we take the bread and water at church, we can think about Jesus and how much He loves us. He died for us and wants us to follow Him. I know the sacrament helps me remember Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In Exodus 12, the Israelites were told to prepare for the Passover. They sacrificed a perfect lamb and used its blood as a sign that they trusted God. This helped them look forward to Jesus Christ, who would one day come and be the perfect Lamb of God. Just like the lamb had to be without blemish, Jesus Christ was perfect. His sacrifice saves us, just like the Passover lamb helped save the Israelites. The Passover reminds us of Jesus’s Atonement. Today, we take the sacrament to remember His sacrifice for us. When we see the bread and water, we can remember His body and His blood. The sacrament prayers even tell us to “always remember him.” When we think about Jesus during the sacrament, we can feel peace, love, and the Holy Ghost. I’m grateful for the sacrament and for the chance each week to remember Jesus Christ and the wonderful things He has done for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3 April 13-19: Exodus 14-18
Junior- Moses needed help keeping his hands up when the Israelites were in a battle, so Aaron and Hur stood beside him and helped him. Because they helped, the Lord’s people won. We can help too! We can listen at church, be reverent, help our family, and be kind. When we help others, we help Jesus. I know I can help with the Lord’s work. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In Exodus 17, the Israelites were in a battle, and Moses stood on a hill with his hands raised. As long as his hands were up, the Israelites were winning. But Moses got tired. Aaron and Hur stood beside him and held up his hands so he could keep going. Because they helped him, the Lord’s people were able to succeed. This story teaches us that the Lord’s work is not meant to be done alone. Just like Aaron and Hur helped Moses, we can help strengthen the people around us. In Exodus 18, Moses learns that he needs other leaders to help him with the work. Today, our bishops, teachers, and other leaders also carry heavy responsibilities. We can help them by praying for them, listening in class, being reverent, serving others, and doing our part in the gospel. When we help one another, we help the Lord. Heavenly Father is pleased when we choose to lift, support, and strengthen the people around us. I know that when we help bear the burden of the Lord’s work, we become more like Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4 April 20-26: Exodus 19-20; 24; 31-34
Junior- God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. These are special rules to help us be safe and make good choices. When we tell the truth, listen to our parents, use nice words, and be kind, we feel happy. Heavenly Father gave us commandments because He loves us. I know keeping the commandments helps me be happy. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In Exodus 20, God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. These commandments teach us how to love God and how to treat other people. Sometimes commandments can seem like rules, but really, they are loving instructions from Heavenly Father to help us be safe, peaceful, and happy. When we choose to keep the commandments—like being honest, honoring our parents, using the Lord’s name with respect, keeping the Sabbath day holy, and being kind to others—we feel the Spirit and avoid a lot of problems and hurt. Heavenly Father knows what will bring us joy, so He gives us commandments to guide us. Just like loving parents give rules to protect their children, God gives commandments because He wants us to have the best life possible. When we follow His commandments, we feel closer to Him and more like Jesus Christ. I know Heavenly Father gives us commandments because He loves us and wants us to be happy. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

2025 April Come Follow Me Primary Talks
Week #1- March 31- April 6 “Jesus Christ Will Gather His People”

Junior– Jesus Christ loves us and wants to keep us safe. In Doctrine and Covenants 29:1–2, it says He will gather His people like a hen gathers her chicks. A hen keeps her chicks close to protect them, just like Jesus protects us. Jesus is gathering His people to be ready for when He comes again. We can help by coming to church, learning about Jesus, and being kind to others. I know Jesus loves us and wants us to stay close to Him. I’m glad we can help Him gather people to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Jesus Christ loves all of us and wants to protect us. In Doctrine and Covenants 29:1–2, Jesus says He will gather His people like a hen gathers her chicks. Have you ever seen a hen gather her chicks under her wings? The hen keeps her chicks close to protect them from danger. Jesus does the same for us when we stay close to Him. Jesus is gathering His people to prepare for when He comes again. He does this by helping us come to His Church, learn the gospel, and follow Him. Because we are gathered to Jesus, we feel His love and protection. We can help Jesus gather others by inviting them to church, being kind, and sharing what we know about Him. When we do this, we help more people feel His love and safety. I know Jesus loves us and wants us to be close to Him. I’m thankful He is gathering His people and letting us help Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #2- April 7-13 “Lift Up Your Voices to Declare My Gospel”

Junior– Heavenly Father wants us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In Doctrine and Covenants 33:8–10, it says, “Open your mouths, and they shall be filled.” This means Heavenly Father will help us know what to say when we share the gospel. We can share the gospel by telling others about Jesus, inviting them to church, or being a good example. When we do this, we help others feel Jesus’s love. I know Jesus loves everyone and wants them to know His gospel. I’m thankful we can help Him by sharing it. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- Heavenly Father wants us to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. In Doctrine and Covenants 33:8–10, it says, “Open your mouths and they shall be filled.” This means when we talk about the gospel and Jesus Christ, Heavenly Father will help us know what to say. We can share the gospel by telling our family and friends about Jesus, inviting them to church, or being a good example. When we share the gospel, we are helping others feel Jesus’s love and learn about Heavenly Father’s plan for them. I love the song “We’ll Bring the World His Truth” because it reminds me that even kids like us can share the gospel and do great things for Jesus. Sharing the gospel brings us joy and helps others feel happy too. I know that Jesus loves everyone and wants them to know His gospel. I’m thankful we can help Him by sharing what we know with others. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #3- April 14-20 “I am He Who Liveth, I am He Who Was a Slain”

Junior– Because of Jesus Christ, we will be resurrected. This means that after we die, our bodies and spirits will come back together, and we will live forever with perfect, healthy bodies. In Doctrine and Covenants 138:17, it says, “The spirit and the body shall be reunited … and they can die no more.” We will see our loved ones again because of Jesus. Sometimes, we feel sad when someone we love dies, but the Resurrection gives us hope and peace. Jesus made this possible because He loves us. I’m thankful for Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. I know we can live again and be with our families forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– We will be resurrected because of Jesus Christ. Resurrection means that after we die, our spirits and bodies will come back together, and our bodies will be perfect and live forever. This is possible because Jesus died for us and was resurrected. In Doctrine and Covenants 138:17, it says, “The spirit and the body shall be reunited … and they can die no more.” This means that everyone who has died will live again someday. We can see our loved ones again and have perfect, healthy bodies. Sometimes, when someone we love dies, we feel sad. But knowing about the Resurrection gives us hope and peace. Jesus made this possible because He loves us so much. We can remember His love when we celebrate Easter or sing songs like “Did Jesus Really Live Again?” I’m so thankful for Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. I know that because of Him, we can live again and be with our families forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #4- April 21-27 “If Ye Are Not One Ye Are Not Mine”

Junior– When we are prepared, we don’t need to be afraid. In Doctrine and Covenants 38:30, it says says, “If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.” We can prepare by praying, learning about Jesus, and keeping the commandments. When we do this, we can feel calm and ready for anything thanks to the Holy Ghost being with us. I know Heavenly Father loves us and helps us when we prepare. We can trust Him, even when things are hard. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– When we are prepared, we don’t need to be afraid. In Doctrine and Covenants 38:30, it says, “If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.” This means that when we take the time to get ready, we can feel peace instead of worry. Think about a time when you had to prepare for something, like a test at school or a trip with your family. When we prepare, things go better, and we don’t feel as nervous. Heavenly Father wants us to prepare for the future by praying, learning about Jesus, and keeping the commandments. There are times in all our lives when we may be afraid, but because we can prepare Heavenly Father will calm us through the Holy Ghost. When we do what Heavenly Father asks, we are ready for anything. I know that Heavenly Father helps us when we prepare. We can feel peace and trust in Him, even when things are hard. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

2024 April Come Follow Me Primary Talks

Week #1- I can help others in need when I share with them.
Junior– Jesus wants me to help others. I can help people by sharing with them. When I share, it gives me happy feelings. It makes others happy, too. I know that Jesus is happy when I share. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– Jacob 2:18 says, “But before ye seek for riches, seek ye for the kingdom of God.” Jacob was worried that some people were becoming prideful because of their expensive clothing and many riches. This is true today, too. Satan is happy when we only focus on ourselves and what we want. He doesn’t want us to serve and love others as Jesus would have us to. We can be more Christlike and avoid pride by being grateful for all that we have. We can also share all that we have. When we do so, we are following the Lord’s example and the Lord will know that He can trust us to love our neighbor. Jesus lived a simple, modest life. He shared all that He had. He is our example and I want to follow in His footsteps. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- Heavenly Father loves me and will forgive me as I repent.
Junior– I try hard to choose the right. Sometimes I make a mistake but it’s okay because I can repent and do better. I know I will be forgiven because Heavenly Father loves me. He is happy when I repent and make better choices. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior- Heavenly Father knew that I would make mistakes in this life so He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to atone for my sins. This made it possible for me to repent and be forgiven when I make a mistake. President Nelson says that repentance helps us to “do better and be better” each day. I know that I am forgiven when I repent because of the great love that Heavenly Father has for me. In Jacob 6:4, we read about how God has His arms outstretched to us, all the time, waiting for us to reach back to Him. He is patient with us. I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father that loves me that much. I will continue to repent so that I can be better everyday. I know that the peace of forgiveness is available to me always. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers.
Junior– When I pray to Heavenly Father, I know that He hears me. I tell Him I love Him. I thank Him for my family and my home. I ask for help and blessings. I know that He hears and answers my prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– In Enos 1, we read about how Enos went out to go hunting but felt impressed to stop and pray. He prayed mightily unto the Lord. He asked for forgiveness for his sins and prayed for his brethren, the Nephites. Heavenly Father heard and answered Enos’ prayers. Like Enos, I know that Heavenly Father will hear and answer my prayers. My prayers may not be answered in the way that I expect, but I know that He will always answer me because He loves me. He wants to hear from me. We can pray for any reason and at any time or in any place. We should pray always because our faith is strengthened when we do, just as Enos’ faith was strengthened. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father that listens and loves me. I know that He will be there for me whenever I need His help and comfort. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- When I serve others, I am serving God.
Junior– Jesus said to love our neighbors. He wants me to be kind. I can show my love for Heavenly Father and Jesus by serving others. I feel happy when I help others. I will help even when I am not asked to. I am following Jesus when I serve others. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– King Benjamin wanted to teach his people some very important things so he gathered them all together. One thing he taught is in Mosiah 2:17. It reads, “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.” This means that Heavenly Father and Jesus are happy when we serve others. Loving our neighbor is the second great commandment, only second to loving God. We not only make Him happy when we serve, we also make those we serve happy, and we will be our happiest selves when we spend time serving others. I can help out at home or be kind to my friends. I can help in the community or at church. There are many ways that I can serve. I will show my love for my Heavenly Father by serving often. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
