2026 March Come Follow Me Primary Talks

Week #1 February 23- March 1: Genesis 18-23

Junior- Lot’s family lived in a bad place, and angels told them to hurry and leave. They needed to get away from the wickedness. We can do the same. If someone wants us to do something wrong, we can walk away, say “no,” or go find a grown-up. Jesus wants us to stay safe and choose the right. I know I can stay away from bad things. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Genesis 19, Lot and his family lived in a very wicked city. Angels came and warned them to leave right away. They told them to escape and not to look back. Lot’s family had to choose to listen and get away from the evil around them. Today, we may not have angels telling us to leave a city, but we do face situations where others might invite us to do things we know are wrong. “Fleeing wickedness” means getting away from anything that pulls us away from Jesus. I could be things like mean jokes, bad language, wrong choices, or unkind behavior. Sometimes it means walking away, saying “no,” or choosing different friends or activities. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to be safe and strong. When we turn away from bad things and look forward, not backward, we feel the Holy Ghost and stay closer to the Savior. I know that when we choose to flee from wickedness, Heavenly Father blesses us and keeps us safe. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2 March 2-8: Genesis 24-33

Junior- Rebekah was very kind. When a man asked her for water, she gave him a drink, and she even helped give water to all his camels, too! We can be kind like Rebekah. We can share, help others, smile, and say nice words. Jesus loves it when we are kind. I know I can be kind. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Genesis 24, Rebekah showed an amazing example of kindness. A servant was traveling with tired camels and asked Rebekah for just a little water. Instead of doing only what he asked, she offered to get water for all his camels too, which was a really big job. She didn’t wait to be asked. She didn’t expect anything in return. She was simply kind. Rebekah teaches us that real kindness means noticing others’ needs and choosing to help. We can be kind by including someone who feels left out, helping with chores, being patient with our family, or saying something nice when someone needs it. Kindness is one of the best ways to follow Jesus Christ. When we are kind, we feel the Spirit and help others feel loved and seen. I know that when we choose kindness like Rebekah did, we become more like the Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3 March 9-15: Genesis 37-41

Junior- Joseph’s brothers were unkind to him, and it made their family very sad. Jesus wants us to be kind instead. We can show kindness in our family by sharing, not yelling, helping each other, and saying kind words. When we are kind at home, Jesus is happy. I know I can be kind to my family. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Genesis 37, we read about Joseph and his brothers. Joseph’s brothers were jealous and unkind. They argued, said hurtful things, and even planned to get rid of him. Their choices caused a lot of sadness in their family. This story teaches us how important it is to treat our family members with love. In verse 4, it says Joseph’s brothers “could not speak peaceably unto him.” That reminds us that our words matter. Being a peacemaker means using kind voices, forgiving quickly, sharing, and helping our family feel safe and loved. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of a peacemaker. He calms anger, brings comfort, and teaches us to love one another. When we follow His example, our homes feel happier and more peaceful. I know that when we choose to be kind to our family, we bring the Spirit into our home and become more like Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4 March 16-22: Genesis 42-50

Junior- Jacob gave blessings to his family because he loved them. Today, we can get priesthood blessings too. When we feel sick, scared, or need help, a priesthood holder can give us a blessing, and Heavenly Father can help us feel better and feel safe.I know Heavenly Father helps me through priesthood blessings. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Genesis 48, Jacob, who was Joseph’s father, gave priesthood blessings to Joseph’s sons. He wanted them to have guidance, protection, and the Lord’s help in their lives. This story teaches us that Heavenly Father uses the priesthood to bless His children. Today, we can receive priesthood blessings too. We might ask for one when we are sick, scared, starting something new, or when we need comfort or direction. Through the priesthood, Heavenly Father can give us peace, strength, and answers. When we receive a priesthood blessing, it helps us feel the Savior’s love. It reminds us that God knows us personally and wants to help us with our challenges. I’m grateful that priesthood blessings are available to us and that Heavenly Father still blesses His children today. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #5 March 23-29: Exodus 1-6

Junior- Moses saw a special burning bush, and Heavenly Father told him the place was holy. Moses showed reverence by listening and being respectful. We can be reverent too. In church, at the temple, and in our homes, we can use quiet voices, listen, and be kind. When we are reverent, we feel close to Jesus. I know Heavenly Father wants me to be reverent. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Exodus 3, Moses saw a bush that was on fire but didn’t burn. When he came closer, the Lord called to him and said, “Put off thy shoes…for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.” Moses showed reverence by obeying right away and treating the Lord’s presence with respect. This story teaches us that Heavenly Father wants us to treat sacred places with reverence. Places like the temple, the chapel, and even our own homes can be holy when we act with respect. We show reverence by being quiet, listening, being kind, and thinking about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. We can also make our homes more sacred by praying, reading scriptures, speaking kindly, and inviting the Spirit. When we act with reverence, we feel closer to the Lord. I know that when we treat holy places with respect, Heavenly Father blesses us with peace and the Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- March 3-9 “Learn of Me”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from March 3-9 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Jesus Christ loves us so much that He suffered for our sins. In Doctrine and Covenants 19:16, Jesus says, “For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent.” He went through pain and sadness so we can be forgiven and feel happy. Jesus understands how we feel because He felt everything we do. We can show our love for Him by repenting, being kind, and keeping the commandments. I’m thankful for Jesus and what He did for me. I know He loves us and wants us to return to Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Jesus Christ loves us so much that He suffered for our sins. In Doctrine and Covenants 19:16, He says, “For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent.” “These things” are all the hard things He went through for us—our sins, our sadness, and our pains. He did this so we could be forgiven and feel joy. In Mosiah 3:7 and Alma 7:11–12, we learn more about His suffering. Jesus felt everything we feel, like pain, sadness, and even fear. His suffering shows us how much He loves us. Jesus understands how we feel because He felt everything we do. We can show our love for Him by repenting, being kind, and keeping the commandments. When we take the sacrament, we can remember what He did for us and try to follow Him. I’m so thankful for Jesus Christ and for everything He did for me. I know He loves each one of us and wants us to return to Heavenly Father someday. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2- March 10-16 “The Rise of the Church of Christ”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from March 10-16 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– When we are baptized, we promise to take Jesus’s name upon us. This means we try to follow Him and help others. When we take the sacrament, we promise to always remember Him. Always remembering Jesus means thinking about Him and being like Him. We can be kind, forgive others, and serve people in need. If we keep our promises, the Holy Ghost will help us and bring us comfort. I know Jesus loves us and blesses us when we follow Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– When we are baptized, we promise to take Jesus Christ’s name upon us. This means we try to follow Him, live as He did, and help others. In Doctrine and Covenants 20:37, it says we should be willing to follow Him. When we take the sacrament, we promise again to take His name upon us and to always remember Him. What does it mean to always remember Jesus? It means we think about Him and try to be like Him. We can do this by being kind, forgiving others, or serving someone in need. These are ways we show we are following Him. In Doctrine and Covenants 20:77, the sacrament prayer says that if we always remember Jesus and keep His commandments, we will have His Spirit to be with us. The Holy Ghost will help and comfort us. I know that taking Jesus’s name upon us is a special promise. When we remember Him and try to be like Him, we can feel His love and blessings. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3- March 17-23 “Seek For the Things of a Better World”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from March 17-23 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Heavenly Father loves when we sing to Him. In Doctrine and Covenants 25:12, it says, “The song of the heart … is a prayer unto me.” When we sing with love, it’s like a prayer. Singing Church songs helps us feel close to Heavenly Father and Jesus. My favorite Church song is [insert your favorite song]. I love to sing it! Heavenly Father is happy when we sing, and it helps us feel His love. I know singing is a way to show Him we love Him, too. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Heavenly Father loves when we sing songs from our hearts. In Doctrine and Covenants 25:12, it says, “For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me.” When we sing with love and faith, it’s like a prayer to Heavenly Father. Singing Church songs helps us feel closer to Heavenly Father. One of my favorite Church songs is [insert your favorite song here]. I love it! Heavenly Father is happy when we sing because it shows our love for Him. It also helps us feel peace and joy. When we sing hymns or Primary songs, we can feel God’s love for us. I know that Heavenly Father loves us and that singing to Him is a way to show our love for Him, too. We can remember to sing with our hearts and make it a prayer to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4- March 24-30 “All Things Must Be Done In Order”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from March 24-30 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Heavenly Father speaks to us today. He gives guidance to the prophet for the whole Church. The prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, helps us know what Heavenly Father wants us to do. While the prophet gets revelation for the Church, we can receive guidance for our own lives through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost helps us know what to do, brings us peace, and helps us make good choices. I know Heavenly Father speaks to the prophet and to us through the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Heavenly Father speaks to us today. He gives revelation, or guidance, to the prophet for the whole Church. The prophet helps us know what Heavenly Father wants us to do. A long time ago, a man named Hiram Page thought he was receiving revelation for the Church. But in Doctrine and Covenants 28, Heavenly Father taught that only the prophet can receive revelation for the Church. Today, our prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, is called by God to lead us. When we follow the prophet, we are following Heavenly Father. While only the prophet receives revelation for the Church, we can all receive personal revelation for our own lives. The Holy Ghost helps us know what to do. In John 14:26, it says the Holy Ghost can teach us and help us remember things. The Holy Ghost can guide us, bring us peace, and help us make good choices. I know Heavenly Father speaks to the prophet and to each of us through the Holy Ghost. When we listen to the Holy Ghost and follow the prophet, we are following Heavenly Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- The temple is the house of the Lord.

pink vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from march week 1 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– The temple is the house of the Lord. It is a place where Heavenly Father gives us special blessings. I want to go there someday when I am old enough. I will prepare by being kind and obeying my mom and dad. I love the temple. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– The temple is a special place. It is the house of the Lord where we go to make important promises to Him. He blesses us and our families when we attend the temple. We can be blessed with feelings of peace and inspiration while we are there. It is a place where we can hear Him better because we aren’t distracted by the many other things going on in our lives. The temple is also a place where we can go to serve our ancestors by performing ordinances in their behalf. We can help our families to be together forever through the work that we do at the temple. The Lord wants us to be with our families for eternity. I am grateful for the temple and I will be prepared to go there someday by obeying God’s commandments and being worthy to enter. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- Jesus Christ brings peace and joy.

Junior– When Jesus was on the earth, He treated others with kindness and love. When He returns to the earth someday, He will bring peace and joy with Him. I want to be like Jesus and make everyone feel happy. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– Like in many families, Lehi’s children didn’t always get along. Laman and Lemuel murmured often and fought against their brother Nephi’s spiritual leadership. They created contention in their family. We know that the Lord doesn’t want us to fight, in our families or anywhere else. He wants us to be peacemakers. President Nelson said, “True disciples of Jesus Christ are peacemakers.” I can be a peacemaker by treating others with kindness even when I don’t agree with them. I can treat them how I would want to be treated, as Jesus would. I can be patient and forgiving. I will show grace to those around me who are struggling with making good choices. I will remember that we are all sons and daughters of God. I know that when I help to create peace, I am being a true disciple of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- Heavenly Father teaches me little by little.

Junior– I learn something new about Jesus each day. My faith is growing as I learn. Heavenly Father teaches me little by little. He knows that I will learn as I grow. He is patient with me as I learn. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– Our teacher at school doesn’t hand us a math book and tell us to learn everything in it in one day. Instead, she teaches us a little at a time, making sure that we understand as we go. This is how our Heavenly Father teaches us, too. He wants us to learn about the gospel but knows we cannot learn it all at once. He teaches us a little at a time, knowing that our faith will grow as we learn. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who is patient with me while I learn. I will do my best to follow His teachings and make correct choices. I will prepare myself to learn each day by praying and reading my scriptures. I know I will learn many things that will keep me safe and protected in this life. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father who loves me enough to teach me everything I need to know to be happy. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- Heavenly Father wants me to pray always.

Junior– Heavenly Father hears me when I pray. He wants me to pray always. I fold my arms, bow my head, and close my eyes when I pray to show my love for Him. When I pray, I can feel his love for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– I often pray in the morning before I start my day and at night before I go to sleep. I pray before meals and when I need special help but in Nephi 32:9, Nephi says that we “must pray always.” What does it mean to pray always? Praying always doesn’t mean that we are constantly saying a formal prayer. Praying always means that our hearts are always turned towards Heavenly Father and that we remember Him as we go through our day, whether it be a good or a bad day. It also means that we can pray to Him anytime, in any place, and in any circumstance. We can say a prayer in our hearts or in our thoughts. Our Heavenly Father loves us. He wants us to reach out and connect to Him through prayer. I know that when we pray, He will hear and answer us. He will protect us. I am grateful for a Father in Heaven who is always there for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #5- (Easter) Because Jesus Christ was resurrected, I will be resurrected too.

Junior– Jesus died on the cross. He was resurrected three days later. Resurrected means that His body and spirit came back together and He came back to life. He was the first of Heavenly Father’s children to be resurrected. Because He was resurrected, I will be, too. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– After Jesus died on the cross, His body was carefully wrapped and placed in the tomb. Three days after Jesus died, He was resurrected. His physical body and spirit were reunited and He lived again. He showed His disciples the wounds in His hands, feet, and side so they could see that He had overcome death. He told them to be happy. Because Jesus was resurrected, I will also be resurrected someday. Jesus paved the way for eternal life for all of Heavenly Father’s children. I am grateful to have the example of His life to teach me how to live and make good choices. I want to walk in His footsteps and have eternal life someday. I am grateful that He lives and that he leads our church. I am grateful that, because of Him, I will be able to live together with my family for eternity. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
