2026 July Come Follow Me Primary Talks
Week #1 June 29- July 5: 1 Kings 12-13; 17-22
Junior- Elijah wanted to hear the Lord. There was a big wind, an earthquake, and a fire, but the Lord didn’t speak in those. Then Elijah heard a still, small voice. The Holy Ghost talks to us in a quiet, soft way. He helps us feel peaceful and helps us choose the right. I know the Holy Ghost can speak to me. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In 1 Kings 19, the prophet Elijah was seeking guidance from the Lord. As he waited, a great wind came, then an earthquake, then a fire. But the Lord was not in any of those loud and dramatic things. After the fire came a still, small voice, and that is where Elijah heard the Lord. This teaches us how the Holy Ghost usually speaks to us. His voice is quiet, peaceful, gentle, and easy to miss if our lives are too noisy or busy. We feel the Spirit through thoughts, warm feelings, ideas, and quiet impressions that help us choose the right. Sometimes things like phones, TV, friends, noise, or even our own worries can distract us from hearing Him. But when we pray, read the scriptures, go to church, and make time to be still, we can recognize the Holy Ghost. I know the Lord speaks to us through the Holy Ghost, and when we listen to the still, small voice, He guides and blesses us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2 July 6-12: 2 Kings 2-7
Junior- In the scriptures, God helped many people. He made oil last a long time, helped a woman have a baby, and even brought a child back to life. These are miracles! God can help us too. He can comfort us, keep us safe, and answer our prayers. I know God can do miracles because He loves me. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In 2 Kings 4, we read about several miracles the Lord performed through the prophet Elisha. A widow’s small jar of oil never ran out. A woman who couldn’t have children was blessed with a son. That same child was later brought back to life. And during a time of hunger, the Lord made a small amount of food feed many people. These miracles teach us that Heavenly Father loves His children and can do things that seem impossible. Miracles don’t always look dramatic; sometimes they are quiet, like feeling comfort when we’re sad, getting help with a problem, or receiving an answer to a prayer. Miracles can happen when we have faith in Jesus Christ and trust in Heavenly Father’s timing. God still works miracles today. He blesses us with protection, healing, comfort, strength, and guidance. When we look for His hand in our lives, we will see that miracles happen more often than we realize. I know that God can work miracles in my life and in the lives of those I love. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3 July 13-19: 2 Kings 16-25
Junior- Hezekiah was a good king because he followed the Lord and kept His commandments. When he faced a big problem, he prayed and trusted in Heavenly Father. We can also trust Heavenly Father and Jesus. When we are scared, sad, or need help, we can pray, and Heavenly Father will comfort us. I know I can trust Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In the scriptures, King Hezekiah was known as a righteous and faithful leader. 2 Kings 18 tells us that he trusted in the Lord, kept the commandments, and followed God with all his heart. He set a strong example by choosing to do what was right, even when others around him did not. Later, in 2 Kings 19, Hezekiah faced a huge problem: an enemy army was threatening his people. Instead of giving up or trying to handle everything alone, he prayed. He took the letter from the enemy, laid it before the Lord, and asked Heavenly Father for help. Hezekiah’s actions showed deep trust in God. We can trust Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ the same way. When we face hard things: like challenges at school, worries, or temptations. We can pray, read the scriptures, and listen to the Holy Ghost. We can trust that the Lord hears our prayers and will help us in the best way. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us, and we can trust them with anything in our lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4 July 20-26: 2 Chronicles 14-20; 26; 30
Junior- King Uzziah was blessed when he followed Heavenly Father. But when he became proud and forgot to listen, things went wrong. Heavenly Father wants us to be humble. That means listening, saying sorry, being kind, and remembering that our blessings come from Him. I know Jesus is happy when I choose to be humble. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In 2 Chronicles 26, we learn about King Uzziah. He started out as a very good king. He followed the Lord, listened to the prophet, and helped his people. Because he was obedient, the Lord blessed him with success, strength, and many accomplishments. But something changed. After Uzziah became powerful, he let pride fill his heart. Instead of remembering that his blessings came from God, he started to think he didn’t need the Lord’s help. Verse 16 says his heart was “lifted up to his destruction.” He tried to do things he wasn’t allowed to do, and because of his pride, he lost the blessings he once had. Uzziah’s story teaches us that pride can break down our spiritual foundation, just like a tall tower falling over. But being humble keeps us strong. We stay humble by praying, being teachable, listening to our leaders, admitting mistakes, and remembering that everything we have comes from Heavenly Father. I know that when we choose humility, the Lord blesses us, protects us, and helps us become more like Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- June 30- July 6 “No Weapon that is Formed Against You Shall Prosper”

Junior– We are given bishops to help us. In Doctrine and Covenants 72:2, it says bishops are called to guide and care for us. A bishop helps us learn about Jesus, prepares us for baptism, and shows us Heavenly Father’s love. Bishops are kind and help families. I’m thankful the Lord gave us bishops because He loves us. When we follow our bishop, we feel closer to Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– We are given bishops to help us. In Doctrine and Covenants 72:2, it says the bishop is called to help guide the Church and care for the people. Bishops are chosen by God to serve and bless us. A bishop has many responsibilities. He helps us learn about Jesus Christ, prepares us for baptism, and makes sure the Church runs smoothly. He also helps us feel Heavenly Father’s love. I’m thankful for the bishops. They show kindness, help families, and teach us to follow Jesus. Heavenly Father blesses us through their service. I know Heavenly Father has called our bishop to help us because He loves us. When we follow the bishop’s guidance, we feel closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #2- July 7-13 “Great Shall Be Their Reward and Eternal Shall Be Their Glory”

Junior– Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to live with Him forever. The Celestial Kingdom is where we can be with Him and Jesus Christ. In Doctrine and Covenants 76:62, it says, “These shall dwell in the presence of God and his Christ forever.” Joseph Smith saw that the Celestial Kingdom is beautiful, full of light, happiness, and peace. To live there, we need to make good choices, follow Jesus, and keep the commandments. I know if we follow God’s plan, we can live with Him forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return to live with Him forever. The Celestial Kingdom is where we can be with Him and Jesus Christ if we follow His plan. In Doctrine and Covenants 76:62, it says, “These shall dwell in the presence of God and his Christ forever and ever.” We can live with Them and feel Their love forever. Joseph Smith saw a vision of the celestial kingdom, and it was beautiful. He taught that it is a place full of light, happiness, and peace. Living with Heavenly Father would be wonderful because we can feel loved all the time. To return to live with Heavenly Father, we need to make good choices, follow Jesus Christ, and keep the commandments. When we do these things, we are preparing to live with Him again. I know Heavenly Father wants us to return to Him because He loves us. I’m thankful for His plan and the chance to live with Him and Jesus Christ forever. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #3- July 14-20 “I Will Lead You Along”

Junior– Jesus Christ is the best leader. In Doctrine and Covenants 78:18, He says, “Be of good cheer, for I will lead you along.” Jesus helps us know what to do. When we feel lost or unsure, we can follow Jesus. He shows us how to be kind, make good choices, and follow Heavenly Father’s plan. I know Jesus will lead me and help me feel His love. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- Jesus Christ is the best leader we can follow. In Doctrine and Covenants 78:18, the Lord says, “Be of good cheer, for I will lead you along.” I know that Jesus will help us know the right path to take in life. Sometimes, we might feel lost or unsure of what to do. That’s when we can turn to Jesus. He leads us through His example, the scriptures, and the Holy Ghost. He shows us how to be kind, make good choices, and follow Heavenly Father’s plan. When we follow Jesus, we don’t have to be afraid. He will guide us to happiness and peace. We can trust Him to help us through hard times and lead us back to Heavenly Father. I know Jesus Christ will always lead me along. I know that as I follow Him, I will feel His love and guidance. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #4- July 21-27 “Where ‘Much is Given Much is Required”

Junior– Jesus asks us to help others. In Doctrine and Covenants 81:5, He says, “Strengthen the feeble knees.” This means we should help people who are sad or need love. We can help by being a friend, cheering someone up, or being kind at home. Little acts of service show love as Jesus did. I know when we help others, we are following Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Jesus asks us to help others who need it. In Doctrine and Covenants 81:5, the Lord says, “Strengthen the feeble knees.” This means we should help people who are feeling weak, sad, or need some extra love and care. We can help others in many ways. We can help someone who is lonely by being their friend, help someone who is hurt by cheering them up, or help at home by being kind to our family. These small acts of service can make a big difference. When we help others, we are showing love like Jesus did. Jesus always helped people who needed Him, and He wants us to follow His example. I know that when we help others, we are doing what Jesus asks. I’m thankful for His example and the chance to serve. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- I can share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
Junior– Heavenly Father wants me to share the gospel. I can share the gospel by being a good example. I want everyone to know that Jesus loves them. I am happy when I share the gospel. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– The sons of Mosiah were an “instrument” in God’s hands. When we think of an instrument, we think about a tool that can be used for a purpose, like using a hammer to hammer a nail. In the case of the sons of Mosiah, Heavenly Father wanted to use them as a tool to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father relies on us to do His work and to be His hands. We are asked to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. President Russell M. Nelson said, “Proclaim your faith! Let your faith show!” Sharing the gospel with others can be as easy as living what we believe in and letting our light shine. When someone asks us why we are so happy, we can share with them the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can be an instrument in God’s hands. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- Jesus Christ brings me joy, and I can share this joy.
Junior– The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. Because of Jesus, I can be with my family forever. I will follow Jesus’ example and always count my blessings. I am happy when I think about Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– Ammon, the sons of Mosiah, and Alma shared the gospel with others. They were great missionaries. They rejoiced as the people they taught were brought to redemption because of a loving and merciful God. I can learn through their example. They taught me that my greatest joy in life can come from sharing the joy that I have as I live the gospel. I want to feel the type of joy that they felt. I know that sharing my testimony with others may sometimes be hard or scary but it is the greatest gift that I could give someone. Doctrine and Covenants 18:15 reads, “And if it so be that you should labor all your days…and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!” What a great blessing! I will set a goal to share the gospel with others whenever I can. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- All things testify of God.
Junior– When I’m outside, I see the beauty of the earth. I see trees and grass and flowers. I hear birds chirping and feel the sun on my face. It makes me happy to know that God loves me so much that He created this beautiful earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior- When I think about God’s creations- the mountains, the oceans, the flowers, the trees, and all of the animals- I am reminded that He created this world for me. Alma 30:44 reads, “…all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.” The earth was created so that we would have someplace to gain a body and be tested. He created us in His image. Our mortal bodies testify of His goodness. We are here on earth to prove that we can keep God’s commandments. We are here to make our way home to Heavenly Father and have eternal life. I am grateful for His creations. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- My testimony of Jesus Christ grows as I nourish it.
Junior– A flower grows when it gets water, soil, and sunlight. The roots grow strong and the flower grows bigger. My testimony is like a flower but it doesn’t need water and sunlight. It needs prayer and scripture study. My testimony grows stronger when I am obedient. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– My testimony grows when the Holy Ghost tells me that something is true. The Holy Ghost gives me feelings of peace and warmth when I hear or learn something that is true. It can make me feel happy and light. There are things that I can do to help my testimony grow. I can make good choices like praying, reading my scriptures, and being obedient. I can also share my testimony with others and be kind. I know my testimony will grow as I nourish it in this way. Galatians 6:7 reads, “For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” This means that we need to put effort into making our testimonies stronger. When we put the effort in to growing our testimonies of Jesus Christ, we will become stronger and more faithful. I have a testimony that we will be blessed as we nourish our testimonies of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
