Week #1- February 3-9 “This is the Spirit of Revelation”

Junior- Heavenly Father loves us and wants to help us make good choices. He talks to us through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost gives us good feelings to help us know what is right and keep us safe. In Doctrine and Covenants 6:23, the Lord said, “Did I not speak peace to your mind?” The Holy Ghost can help us feel peace and comfort when we make good choices. We can hear the Holy Ghost by praying, reading the scriptures, and being reverent. I know Heavenly Father speaks to us through the Holy Ghost because He loves us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior-Heavenly Father loves us and wants to help us make good choices. One way He talks to us is through the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost gives us thoughts and feelings that guide us and help us know what is right and to protect us from danger. In Doctrine and Covenants, Oliver Cowdery wanted to know how to hear God’s voice. Heavenly Father taught him how the Holy Ghost works. In Doctrine and Covenants 6:23, the Lord said, “Did I not speak peace to your mind?” The Holy Ghost can help us feel peace and comfort when we are making good choices. In Doctrine and Covenants 9:8–9, the Lord told Oliver to think about his question and then ask Heavenly Father. If something is right, the Holy Ghost will give us a warm, good feeling. If it’s wrong, we won’t feel good about it. This is how the Holy Ghost helps us know what to do. We can learn to hear the Holy Ghost by praying, reading the scriptures, and being reverent. I know that Heavenly Father speaks to us through the Holy Ghost because He loves us and wants to guide us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2- February 10-16 “That you May Come off Conqueror”

Junior- We can help others learn about the gospel. But first, we need to learn it ourselves. In Doctrine and Covenants 11:21, the Lord told Hyrum Smith to learn His word before teaching it. We can learn the gospel by reading scriptures, praying, and listening to the prophet. When we keep the gospel in our hearts, the Holy Ghost helps us share it with others. I know Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to share His truth with everyone. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- We can help others learn about the gospel. Just like Hyrum Smith, we all have chances to share the truth with others. But to teach the gospel, we need to understand it first. In Doctrine and Covenants 11:21, the Lord told Hyrum, “Seek not to declare my word, but first seek to obtain my word.” This means that before we can teach others, we need to learn and love the gospel ourselves. We can do this by reading the scriptures, praying, and listening to what prophets teach us. The Lord also told Hyrum to “treasure up” His word. This means we should think about the gospel and keep it in our hearts so we are ready to share it. When we do this, the Holy Ghost will help us know what to say when we share the gospel with others. I know that when we learn the gospel and treasure it in our hearts, we can help others find the truth. Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to share His plan with everyone. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3- February 17-23 “Upon You My Fellow Servants”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from February 17-23 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior- Heavenly Father blesses us through the Aaronic Priesthood. In Doctrine and Covenants 13, it talks about priesthood keys. Keys are like special powers or authority that Heavenly Father gives to help His work on earth from Heavenly Father to help us. The Aaronic Priesthood brings us blessings like baptism and the sacrament. The sacrament helps us remember Jesus and be forgiven when we repent. I’m thankful for the Aaronic Priesthood and how it shows Heavenly Father’s love for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- Heavenly Father blesses us through the Aaronic Priesthood. In Doctrine and Covenants 13, it talks about the keys of the Aaronic Priesthood. Keys are like special powers or authority that Heavenly Father gives to help His work on earth. Just like keys unlock doors, priesthood keys unlock blessings for all of us. The Aaronic Priesthood helps bring us blessings like baptism and the sacrament. The sacrament helps us remember Jesus Christ and be forgiven when we repent. Heavenly Father blesses us in many ways through the priesthood. When we are baptized, take the sacrament, or receive a blessing, we feel His love. I’m thankful for the Aaronic Priesthood and for the blessings it brings to my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4- February 24-March 2 “The Worth of Souls is Great”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from February 24-March 2 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– We are all very special to Heavenly Father. In Doctrine and Covenants 18:10, it says, “The worth of souls is great in the sight of God.” Each one of us is important to Him. Heavenly Father loves us because we are His children. Jesus showed how much he loves us when He suffered for our sins so we can return to Him. We can help others feel special by being kind and reminding them they are children of God. I know Heavenly Father loves us, and we are important to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- We are all very special to Heavenly Father. In Doctrine and Covenants 18:10, it says, “Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God.” Each one of us is important to Him. We all have things that are valuable, like a favorite toy or something special to our family. How do we take care of those things? We treat them with love and care. Heavenly Father feels that way about us! He loves us because we are His children. Jesus Christ showed us how much we are worth when He suffered for our sins. In Doctrine and Covenants 18:11, it says, “For behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death … that all men might repent and come unto him.” He did this because He loves us so much. We can also help others feel their worth by being kind, showing love, and reminding them they are children of God too. When we do this, we are showing how much Heavenly Father values each of us. I know that Heavenly Father loves every one of us and that we are of great worth to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

2024 February Come Follow Me Primary Talks

Week #1- I can be a good example to my family.

Junior- Jesus is a good example to me. I can be like Him. I can be an example to my family by listening to my mom and dad, being nice, and helping my family. I know that when I do good things, they will want to, too. I love my family. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior- I can be a good example to my family. Matthew 5:16 reads, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” In the Book of Mormon, we learn about how Nephi was an example of faith to his family. After Nephi broke his bow, many in his family felt that they wouldn’t find food but Nephi had faith. He built a new bow and followed the direction of the Liahona to find food to bring to his family. His faith blessed and humbled his family. I know that when I am an example of faith and good works, I can inspire those around me to make good choices. As I strive to live by the Lord’s example, I can help others on their path to do so, too. I can show my love for my family and my Father in Heaven by striving to be a positive influence in my home. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- I am blessed when I obey God’s commandments.

Junior- I feel happy when I obey God’s commandments. I know that He is proud of me when I make good choices. When I obey, I am blessed with feelings of peace and love. I will always do my best to obey. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior- Commandments are instructions for how the Lord wants us to live so that we can be happy. They are a protection for us. We have been taught that when we follow God’s commandments, we will be blessed and protected. We will feel peace. When we are obedient, we also show our love for God. God expects us to be obedient. He wants to bless us. President Thomas S. Monson said, “Our greatest happiness in this life will come as we follow God’s commandments and obey His laws.” Some people think that keeping the commandments is too hard. They want to have no rules. But this will only lead them to sadness and difficult consequences for their disobedience. We are always happiest when we strive to obey God’s commandments. I am grateful that the Lord loves me enough to show me how to get back to Him someday. I always want to be obedient. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- Joseph Smith was a prophet.

Junior- God chose Joseph Smith as a prophet in the latter days. Joseph Smith loved the Lord, so he spent his life restoring the gospel to the Earth. Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon so that I could learn more about Jesus. I am grateful for the prophet Joseph Smith. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior- In 2 Nephi chapter 3, Lehi told about how Joseph of Egypt had prophesied about another Joseph who would someday be a “choice seer” and that he would do “much good” for the people of our day. He would restore the gospel and bring forth many important writings which we now know as the Book of Mormon. The Joseph that He spoke of is Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was the first prophet of the modern dispensation of the fullness of the gospel here on earth. It’s because of Joseph Smith, that we now have the church, the priesthood, and that we know about important ordinances and covenants that will help us to get back to our Heavenly Father someday. Joseph Smith accomplished what he was asked to do. He was valiant and faithful. I am so grateful for his courage and his love for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- Jesus Christ in my Savior.

Junior– Jesus Christ is my Savior. I love Him. He came to earth to teach me how to live like Him. He was kind to every person He met. He died for me so I can live forever with my family. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior- Jesus Christ is my Savior. He came to earth willingly so that He could atone for my sins. Because of his sacrifice, I know I can be forgiven when I make bad choices and repent. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is an “infinite Atonement”. This means that there is no end to what the Lord can repair and make right again. His Atonement is always available to us. We can always repent. We can always reach out to feel the comfort that is available through the Atonement of Jesus Christ when we have hard times. I am so grateful for His sacrifice. I feel His love for me when I think about how He lived and died for me. His love for me reminds me to show love and forgiveness to others, too. I will do my best to follow His example and treat everyone with love and kindness. I will be a good friend, just as Jesus is to me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
