2026 June Come Follow Me Primary Talks
Week #1 June 1-7: Ruth; 1 Samuel 1-7
Junior- Hannah prayed to Heavenly Father because she was sad because she really wanted a baby, but was not able to have one. She knew He was listening. And Heavenly Father answered her prayer and blessed her with a son. Heavenly Father listens when we pray, too. We can talk to Him at any time, and He will help us and comfort us. I know Heavenly Father hears my prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In 1 Samuel 1, we learn the story of Hannah. Hannah was very sad because she wanted a child but didn’t have one. Instead of giving up, she went to the temple and prayed with all her heart. She prayed silently, but the Lord heard her. Later, Heavenly Father answered her prayer, and she was blessed with a son, Samuel. Hannah’s story teaches us that Heavenly Father hears every prayer. The quiet ones, loud ones, long ones, and short ones. He knows our feelings, our worries, and our hopes. Sometimes answers come quickly, and sometimes they take time, but Heavenly Father always listens with love. We can pray when we’re sad, scared, confused, thankful, or happy. And we can pray for help in school, with family, and with making good choices. Just like Hannah, when we pray with faith, Heavenly Father will bless us in the way that is best. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2 June 8-14: 1 Samuel 8-10; 13; 15-16
Junior- In the scriptures, God chose Saul and David to serve. Today, Heavenly Father chooses our Church leaders, too. He helps the prophet and bishop know who should teach, who should lead, and who should help. People who serve in the Church are called by God. I’m thankful for my leaders and teachers. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In the scriptures, we learn how God chose Saul and later David to be kings. He didn’t choose them randomly. He chose them through revelation. Samuel, the prophet, listened to the Spirit and followed God’s instructions. This teaches us that Heavenly Father calls people to serve through His power. The same thing happens in the Church today. Bishops, Primary teachers, Young Women leaders, and everyone who receives a calling is chosen by God through revelation. Heavenly Father knows exactly where each person can serve best. When people are called, Heavenly Father also gives them strength to do their job, just like when Saul received spiritual power to fulfill his calling (1 Samuel 10:9–10). We can trust that our leaders are inspired and that Heavenly Father helps them. I know that callings in the Church come from God, and I’m thankful for everyone who serves to help me and my family grow in the gospel. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3 June 15-21: 1 Samuel 17-18; 24-26; 2 Samuel 5-7
Junior- A famous Bible Story is David and Goliath. David was small, and Goliath was a giant. David trusted in Heavenly Father, and he was brave; he was able to fight against Goliath. Just like David, we can be brave too. Jesus helps us when things feel hard or scary. When we pray and trust Him, we can feel strong. I know Jesus helps me be brave. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- The story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 teaches us a powerful lesson about courage and faith. David was just a young shepherd, and Goliath was a giant warrior. Everyone else was afraid of Goliath, but David trusted in the Lord. David said, “The Lord…will deliver me.” He knew he wasn’t fighting alone. Because of his faith in God, he had the courage to face a challenge that looked impossible. We all have our own “Goliaths” in our lives, things that feel big or scary, like school, making friends, trying new things, or standing up for what’s right. David’s words can help us when we face hard things. He reminds us that the Lord is stronger than any challenge we face. When we pray, read the scriptures, keep the commandments, and rely on Jesus Christ, we can feel brave even when life is hard. Jesus Christ gives us strength, comfort, and courage. I know that when we have faith in Jesus Christ, we can do things that seem impossible. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4 June 22-28: 2 Samuel 11-12; 1 Kings 3; 6-9; 11
Junior- Solomon stopped putting the Lord first, and it led him to make poor choices. We can put the Lord first by praying, being kind, choosing the right, and loving Him more than anything else. I know I can put the Lord first in my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- In 1 Kings 11, we learn that King Solomon started out faithful and wise, but later he let other influences turn his heart away from the Lord. Instead of putting God first, he allowed other things to become more important. The scriptures call these “other gods.” Today, we might not worship statues like in ancient times, but we can still let things take first place in our hearts like phones, games, friends, sports, or hobbies. These things aren’t bad, but we should never let them become more important than Heavenly Father. We put the Lord first when we pray, read the scriptures, choose the right, keep the commandments, and listen to the Holy Ghost. When we put the Lord first, our lives are happier, safer, and filled with peace. I know that when we love the Lord with all our hearts and put Him first, He helps us stay on the right path. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- May 26- June 1 “A Faithful, a Just, and a Wise Steward”

Junior- Heavenly Father wants us to be honest. In Doctrine and Covenants 51:9, it says, “Be honest and deal honestly.” Being honest means telling the truth and being fair. Sometimes it’s hard to be honest, like admitting a mistake or not cheating in a game. But when we are honest, others trust us, and we feel happy inside. I know being honest is the right thing to do. It shows love for Heavenly Father and others. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior- Heavenly Father wants us to be honest. In Doctrine and Covenants 51:9, it says, “Be honest and deal honestly.” Being honest means always telling the truth and being fair to others. Sometimes we face choices where it can be hard to be honest, like admitting when we make a mistake or deciding not to cheat in a game. But when we choose honesty, we show Heavenly Father that we want to do what’s right. Being honest also helps people trust us. When we are truthful, others know they can count on us. Heavenly Father blesses us with peace and happiness when we are honest. I know that being honest is the right thing to do. When we are honest, we are showing love for Heavenly Father and others. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #2- June 2-8 “Anxiously Engaged In a Good Cause”

Junior- The Sabbath day is a special day. In Doctrine and Covenants 59:9, we are told to go to church, take the sacrament, and think about Jesus. The Sabbath is also a day to worship and rest. We can pray, read scriptures, sing songs, and spend time with family. These things help us feel close to Heavenly Father and Jesus. I know keeping the Sabbath day holy makes us happy and draws us closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– The Sabbath day is a special day. In Doctrine and Covenants 59:9, the Lord asks us to “go to the house of prayer and offer up thy sacraments.” This means that on Sunday, we should go to church, take the sacrament, and think about Jesus Christ. The Sabbath is also a day for worship and rest. We can pray, read scriptures, and spend time with our families. We can also sing Church songs, help others, or draw pictures of Jesus. These things help us feel closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. When we keep the Sabbath holy, we can feel peace and joy. It’s a way to show Heavenly Father that we love Him and are thankful for His blessings. I know keeping the Sabbath day holy makes us happy and draws us closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #3- June 9-15 “I am With The Faithful Always” my own testimony through the Holy Ghost.

Junior– Heavenly Father loves us and wants to forgive us when we make mistakes. In Doctrine and Covenants 61:2, it says, “I, the Lord, forgive sins, and am merciful unto those who confess their sins with humble hearts;” When we repent, the Lord forgives us. Repenting means saying sorry, fixing what we can, and trying to do better. Jesus helps us feel clean and happy again. I know I will be forgiven when we repent. I’m thankful for Jesus and the chance to start fresh when I make a mistake. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Did you know that Heavenly Father loves us and wants to forgive us when we make mistakes? In Doctrine and Covenants 61:2, the Lord says, “I, the Lord, forgive sins, and am merciful unto those who confess their sins with humble hearts;” This means that when we repent, the Lord will forgive us. Sometimes, we make wrong choices or hurt someone, but Jesus Christ made it possible for us to repent. Repenting means we say sorry, fix what we can, and promise to do better. When we repent, Jesus helps us feel clean and happy again. In Doctrine and Covenants 62:1, it says Jesus knows everything we go through and can help us when we feel tempted to make a wrong choice. He loves us and wants to help us choose the right. I know I will be forgiven when we repent. I’m thankful for Jesus and the chance to start fresh when I make a mistake. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #4- June 16-22 “The Lord Requireth the Heart and a Willing Mind”

Junior- Jesus Christ wants us to forgive everyone. In Doctrine and Covenants 64:10, He says we need to forgive others. Forgiving means letting go of bad feelings so we can feel happy again. We are forgiven when we make mistakes. Heavenly Father wants us to do the same for others. When we forgive, we feel peace and show love like Jesus. I’m thankful that I can be forgiven. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Jesus Christ taught us to forgive everyone. In Doctrine and Covenants 64:10, He says, “I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men.” This means that forgiving others is something Jesus wants us to do. Sometimes forgiving can be hard, especially if someone hurts our feelings. Forgiving means we let go of angry or bad feelings so we can feel peace and love again. We are forgiven when we make mistakes. Heavenly Father wants us to do the same for others. When we forgive, we feel peace and show love like Jesus. I’m thankful for forgiveness. I know that forgiving others helps us feel closer to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Week #5- June 23-29 “The Riches of the Whole Earth”

Junior- Heavenly Father wants our homes to be a place where we feel close to Jesus. We can pray, read scriptures, and be kind to help make our homes full of love and peace. I know when we follow Jesus at home, we feel His love. I’m thankful we can make our homes happy with Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Senior– Heavenly Father wants us to make our homes a place where we can feel close to Jesus Christ. We can make Jesus the center of our homes by doing things like praying together, reading the scriptures, and being kind to each other. When we do these things, we bring peace and love into our homes. I know that when we follow Jesus in our homes, we feel His love and peace. I’m thankful we can help make our homes centered on Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- The Lord wants me to forgive.
Junior- Jesus forgave people who were unkind to him. He wants me to forgive, too. When I forgive those who hurt me, I am treating them with love and kindness, just as Jesus would. I will forgive so I can be more like Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior- The Lord forgives me every time I repent with a sincere heart. He allows me to repent as many times as I need to and He forgives me each time. In Mosiah 26:31, we are taught that we also need to forgive others. Heavenly Father wants us to show the same love and kindness to others that He shows to us. It can be hard sometimes because we can feel hurt or angry. When it feels hard to forgive, we can pray for help and the Lord will help us to replace those feelings of hurt and anger with love and kindness. We will be happier when we seek to forgive. I am grateful for the Lord’s example of forgiveness. He forgave the soldiers who nailed Him to the cross and asked Heavenly Father to forgive them. He wasn’t angry. His example of forgiveness teaches me that I can and should forgive others. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, I love and serve others.
Junior- I like to help my mom and dad. I help them by cleaning up my toys and helping with the chores at home. When I help my parents, I am serving them. The Lord wants us to serve all those in need. We can show our love for Jesus by serving others. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, I represent the Lord as one of his disciples. The Lord expects me to love and serve others as He would. He would not be happy if I said I was a follower of Christ but did not serve others. In Alma 1:30, we are taught to help all those who stand in need of help. Serving others can be as simple as showing kindness to someone who is having a hard day by giving them a compliment or a small gift. It could also look like taking a meal to someone who is sick or helping a family with limited resources with clothes or groceries. There are many people with many different needs. We should watch for opportunities to serve and follow promptings from the Holy Ghost to help. I know that we are representing the Lord well when we do so. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- I can gain my own testimony through the Holy Ghost.
Junior– I learn about Jesus when I hear stories about Him. I can have faith in Jesus when I pray to know these stories are true. When I pray, I feel His love. I know that He is my Savior. This is my testimony. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– Alma had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. He prayed and fasted to know the truth. The Lord blessed Alma to know and understand truth through the Holy Ghost. We can have our own testimony by listening to the Holy Ghost. President Thomas S. Monson said, “A testimony needs to be kept vital and alive through continued obedience to the commandments of God and through daily prayer and scripture study.” Our testimony can grow when we nurture it through prayer, study, and obedience. We can learn about Jesus by listening to the testimonies of our mom and dad or our teachers or friends, but when we have our own testimony, we will have stronger faith and we will be more righteous. Also, when we have our own testimony, we can be a better missionary and share our testimony with others. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- I can share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Junior- I can be a missionary like Alma and Amulek. I don’t have to wait until I’m grown up. I can do it now. I can invite my friends to church. I can bear my testimony of Jesus. I can be a good example. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– Alma and Amulek were great missionaries. They did not fear as they testified of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father needed them to preach repentance. They worked together and followed the Lord’s commandment to testify to the people. I want to be a missionary like Alma and Amulek. I want the Lord to know that He can count on me. I know that I can be a missionary now by being a good example to others and by sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ with my friends and family. When I am a good example, I let my light shine. My friends will want to know more about the gospel because of my example. I will be ready to share my testimony of Jesus Christ just as the missionaries in the Book of Mormon did. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #5- Priesthood power helps me come closer to Christ.
Junior- Priesthood holders have the power to act in the name of God. I am happy when I get a priesthood blessing. It is a special blessing for me from my Heavenly Father. It can help me to feel closer to Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Senior– The power of the priesthood is the power to act in the name of God. God knew we would need to have His power on Earth so that we could participate in important ordinances like baptism and special temple ordinances. God’s power here on earth makes it possible for us to be sealed to our families forever. His power makes it possible for us to repent and be renewed as we take the sacrament each week. Priesthood power is also used to give special priesthood blessings and to heal the sick. I know that I will come closer to Jesus Christ as I apply priesthood power in my life. I am grateful that Heavenly Father has given worthy men the power to act in His name. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
