2026 November Come Follow Me Primary Talks

Week #1 October 26- November 1: Jeremiah 31-33; 36-38; Lamentations 1; 3

Junior- Jeremiah teaches that Heavenly Father makes covenants with us. Convenants are special promises. When we are baptized, we promise to follow Jesus. Heavenly Father promises to help us. He loves us, and He helps us choose the right and feel the Holy Ghost. I know God helps me keep my promises to Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Jeremiah 31 and 32, the Lord talks about making a “new covenant” with His people. He says He will write His law in their hearts. That means He wants His teachings and our promises to Him to become a part of who we are, not just something we say, but something we feel and live every day. When we are baptized, we make covenants with Heavenly Father. We promise to follow Jesus Christ, remember Him, keep His commandments, and serve others. And Heavenly Father promises to forgive us, guide us, and bless us with the Holy Ghost. Jeremiah teaches that God will help us keep our covenants. He says, “I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”Heavenly Father doesn’t ask us to keep covenants alone. He gives us strength, comfort, and the Spirit to remind us what is right. When we choose the right, repent, pray, read the scriptures, and follow the Holy Ghost, our covenants grow deeper in our hearts. And Heavenly Father promises, “I will not turn away from them, to do them good.” I know that God will help me keep my covenants as I strive to follow Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2 November 2-8: Ezekiel 1-3; 33-34; 36-37; 47

Junior- In Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel talks about two sticks, one for the Bible and one for the Book of Mormon. Today we have both books! The Bible teaches about Jesus in Jerusalem. The Book of Mormon teaches about Jesus in the Americas. Both books help us learn about Jesus and feel close to Him. I know the scriptures help gather us to Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Ezekiel 37, the Lord showed the prophet two sticks. One stick represented the Bible—“for Judah.” The other stick represented the Book of Mormon—“for Joseph.” The Lord said that one day these two sticks would become one in His hand. Today we have both books of scripture, and they work together to teach us about Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us about His life in Jerusalem: His miracles, His teachings, and His love. The Book of Mormon teaches us that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the whole world and shows us how He ministered to the people in the Americas. When we read both, we learn the same message: Jesus Christ is our Redeemer, and He invites all of us to come to Him. Ezekiel said the scriptures help “gather” us to the Lord and help us become “[His] people.” The more we study the Bible and the Book of Mormon, the closer we feel to Jesus. They guide us, teach us how to live the gospel, and strengthen our testimonies. I am grateful for both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Together, they bring me closer to my Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3 November 9-15: Daniel 1-7

Junior- Daniel and his friends wanted to choose the right. Daniel prayed every day. His three friends would not bow to a fake idol. Even when it was hard, they continued to do what was right. The King got mad and threw him in the Lion’s Den. Heavenly Father kept them safe. Jesus will help me too when I choose the right. He helps me be brave and strong. I know Heavenly Father loves me and helps me do what is right. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- The book of Daniel is full of amazing examples of people who chose the right even when it was difficult. In Daniel 1, Daniel and his friends refused the king’s food because they wanted to obey God’s commandments. In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego chose not to worship a false idol even though it meant being thrown into a fiery furnace. And in Daniel 6, Daniel kept praying to Heavenly Father even when the king’s law said he could not. Each time, doing the right thing was hard. But every time, the Lord helped them. He blessed Daniel and his friends with health and wisdom. He protected the three young men from the fire. And He shut the mouths of the lions for Daniel. These stories teach us that Jesus Christ will always help us when we choose the right, even if it feels scary or unpopular. When we stand for truth, pray for strength, follow the commandments, and listen to the Spirit, Jesus is with us. He gives us courage, peace, and power to do what is right. I know that Jesus Christ can help me be strong, brave, and faithful, just like Daniel and his friends. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4 November 16-22: Hosea 1-6; 10-14; Joel

Junior- Joel taught that Heavenly Father will pour out the Holy Ghost to help us. The Holy Ghost gives me warm, happy feelings. He helps me know what is right and helps me feel safe and peaceful. I know the Holy Ghost can guide me and help me every day. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- In Joel 2:28–29, the Lord promises that He will “pour out [His] Spirit” upon His sons and His daughters. That means Heavenly Father wants all of us, even children, to feel the Holy Ghost in our lives. When something is poured, it comes in a full, steady stream, not just a tiny drop. Heavenly Father wants us to feel the Spirit often and strongly. The Holy Ghost can guide us when we need help. He can bring peace to our hearts, warn us when something is wrong, comfort us when we are sad, and help us know what is true. He also helps us remember Jesus Christ and the things He wants us to do. When we pray, read the scriptures, go to church, and listen for quiet, peaceful feelings, we can feel the Holy Ghost more clearly. I know the Holy Ghost is a gift from Heavenly Father, and He can guide me every day when I listen. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #5 November 23-29: Amos; Obadiah; Jonah

Junior- Jonah was a prophet. The Lord told him to go to Nineveh, but Jonah didn’t want to. He ran away and was swallowed by a big fish. Jonah prayed, said he was sorry, and the Lord helped him. After Jonah obeyed, good things began to happen. The people listened and changed. When obeying feels hard, Jesus can help me. He helps me be brave and choose the right. I know the Lord blesses me when I obey. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior- The story of Jonah teaches us a lot about obedience. The Lord asked Jonah to go to Nineveh and warn the people, but Jonah didn’t want to go. Instead of obeying, he ran away and got on a ship going in the opposite direction. Because he disobeyed, a huge storm came, and Jonah ended up being swallowed by a great fish. This shows that making wrong choices can lead us into hard and scary situations. While Jonah was inside the fish, he prayed and repented. He told the Lord he was sorry and promised to obey. The Lord heard Jonah’s prayer and rescued him. After Jonah was safe, he finally obeyed the Lord and went to Nineveh. When he did, the people listened and repented, and the Lord blessed them. Jonah’s story teaches us that obeying the Lord is always the right choice, even when it feels hard or scary. When we struggle, the Lord is there to help us. He can give us the courage, strength, and peace as we try to follow Him. If we make a mistake, we can repent just like Jonah did, and the Lord will forgive us and help us try again. I know that the Lord helps us obey Him, and He blesses us when we choose the right path. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Junior– Heavenly Father has a special blessing for us called a patriarchal blessing. In Doctrine and Covenants 124:91–92, the Lord asked Hyrum Smith to give these blessings to others. A patriarchal blessing is a message from Heavenly Father that helps us know who we are and what He wants us to do. It shows us His love and helps guide us. I’m thankful for the blessings Heavenly Father gives us and for His plan to help us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Heavenly Father has a special blessing for each of us called a patriarchal blessing. In Doctrine and Covenants 124:91–92, the Lord called Hyrum Smith to be a patriarch and give blessings to others. These blessings are personal messages from Heavenly Father that help us know more about who we are and what He wants us to do. A patriarchal blessing can guide us and give us peace. It teaches us about our gifts, helps us understand Heavenly Father’s plan for us, and shows us how much He loves us. We usually receive a patriarchal blessing when we are older and ready to understand it. It’s one of the ways that Heavenly Father shows His love and helps us on our journey back to Him. I’m thankful for the blessings Heavenly Father gives us and for His plan to guide and help us. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #2- November 3-9 “A Voice of Gladness for the Living and the Dead”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from November 3-9 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Baptism is a special gift from Heavenly Father. In Doctrine and Covenants 128:17, Joseph Smith said baptism is very important. Baptism helps us follow Jesus and receive blessings from Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father also made a way for people who didn’t get baptized in their life. In temples, we can be baptized for them so they can have the same blessings. I’m thankful for baptism and that we can help others feel Heavenly Father’s love. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Baptism is a very special gift that Heavenly Father wants all His children to have. In Doctrine and Covenants 128:17, Joseph Smith called baptism “the most glorious of all subjects belonging to the everlasting gospel.” Baptism allows us to follow Jesus Christ, make covenants with Heavenly Father, and receive His blessings. But what about people who didn’t have the chance to be baptized during their life? Heavenly Father made a way for them too. In temples, we can be baptized on behalf of those who have died so they can have the same blessings. This is called baptism for the dead, and it’s a way we can help others feel God’s love. I’m thankful that Heavenly Father gave us baptism and a way to help others who didn’t have the chance to be baptized. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #3- November 10-16 “I Have Seen Your Sacrifices in Obedience”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from November 10-16 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– God gives us commandments to help us. In Doctrine and Covenants 130:21, it says God blesses us when we obey His laws. Commandments are like directions. When we follow them, we feel safe and happy. When we pray, are kind, and keep the Sabbath day holy, God blesses us with peace and His Spirit. Sometimes it’s hard to obey, but God knows what’s best for us. I know He loves us and blesses us when we follow Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– God gives us commandments to help us. In Doctrine and Covenants 130:21, it says, “When we obtain any blessing from God, it is by obedience to that law upon which it is predicated.” This means that when we follow God’s commandments, He blesses us. God’s commandments are like directions. If we follow the directions, we get to where we need to go safely. If we don’t, we might get lost. When we keep commandments like praying, being kind, and keeping the Sabbath day holy, Heavenly Father blesses us with peace, happiness, and His Spirit. Sometimes it’s hard to obey, but God knows what’s best for us. He promises that when we do our best to follow Him, He will help us and bless our lives. I know God loves us and blesses us as we obey His laws. I’m thankful for His guidance and the happiness that comes from following Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #4- November 17-23 “Prepare Ye For the Coming of the Bridegroom”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from November 17-23 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Jesus Christ will come to earth again someday. This is called the Second Coming. In Doctrine and Covenants 133:17, the Lord tells us to prepare for this special day. We can get ready for Jesus by praying, reading the scriptures, and being kind to others. When Jesus comes, there will be peace and joy for everyone who loves Him. I’m thankful for Jesus and His promise to come back. I know we can feel happy and ready by following Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Jesus Christ will come to earth again someday. This is called the Second Coming. In Doctrine and Covenants 133:17, the Lord invites us to prepare for this special event. When Jesus comes again, it will be a joyful time for everyone who loves Him. We can prepare for Jesus’s return by doing things that bring us closer to Him, like reading the scriptures, praying, sharing the gospel, and serving others. We can get ready to meet Jesus by following His teachings. When Jesus comes again, there will be peace, love, and joy. I’m so thankful for Jesus and His promise to come back. I know that when we prepare, we can feel happy and ready to meet Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #5- November 24-30 “He ‘Has Sealed His Mission and His Works with His Own Blood”

teal vertical rectangle with white vertical rectangle inside with text from November 24-30 primary talks with black circle with black and white temple graphic in bottom left corner and the text frosting and glue in white centered at bottom

Junior– Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum loved Jesus Christ and His gospel so much that they gave their lives for it. In Doctrine and Covenants 135:1, it says they stayed true to God, even when it was hard. Before going to Carthage Jail, Hyrum read a scripture that gave him peace. It reminded him that Jesus would take care of him. Joseph and Hyrum’s sacrifice teaches us to be brave and faithful like they were. I’m thankful for their example and for Jesus’s love. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Senior– Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum loved Jesus Christ and His gospel so much that they were willing to give their lives for it. In Doctrine and Covenants 135:1, it says they were faithful and sealed their testimony with their blood. This means they stayed true to God, even when it was hard. Before they went to Carthage Jail, Hyrum read a scripture from the Book of Mormon. In Ether 12:37, it says, “Thou hast been faithful; wherefore … thou shalt dwell with me in glory.” This scripture gave them peace because it reminded them that Jesus would take care of them. Joseph and Hyrum’s sacrifice teaches us to be brave and faithful like they were. They loved Jesus and His gospel more than anything. I’m thankful for their example and for the chance to follow Jesus too. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Week #1- Like Mormon, I can follow Jesus Christ.

Junior– Mormon was a prophet from the Book of Mormon. He showed great faith when he was a little boy. He followed Jesus his whole life. He had faith even when everyone else was wicked. I want to have faith like Mormon. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– The prophet Mormon was faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ throughout his life. Even as the Nephites grew wicked, he never lost his faith. I think about Mormon and how discouraged he must have been to see everyone around him fall away from God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful that he protected the plates and continued to write so that I could be inspired by his faith. In Mormon 3:21-22 he writes, “Believe the gospel of Jesus Christ…Repent and prepare to stand before the judgment-seat of Christ”. This message was for us who are on the earth now. He knew that his words would be read someday. His example of faith teaches me that I can follow Jesus Christ at all times, even if it feels as if I’m the only one. I want to have faith like Mormon. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #2- Jesus Christ is “a God of miracles.”

Junior– When God uses His power to make something happen it’s called a miracle. Jesus performed many miracles. He healed the sick. He fed 5000 people with a few fish and a few loaves of bread. His miracles blessed many lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– Jesus Christ is “a God of miracles.” He performed many miracles while on the earth. From healing the blind and sick to feeding the 5000 with just a few fish and loaves of bread, He used the powers of heaven to show the people on earth the greatness of God. Miracles still happen today. Jeffrey R. Holland said, “Believe in miracles. I have seen so many of them come when every other indication would say that hope was lost. Hope is never lost.” We can still see miracles in our lives today. These miracles can be a comfort and protection and can strengthen our faith. If we look closely, we can see God’s power in every part of our lives. I will pray to see everyday miracles and notice His power when amazing things happen. I am grateful for a Savior that continues to perform miracles in the lives of His disciples. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #3- Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers.

Junior– Heavenly Father hears me when I pray. I can pray anytime and anywhere. He will always listen to me. He answers my prayers through scripture stories, the feelings I get in my heart and mind, and through my friends and family. I will pray always. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– My Heavenly Father loves me and wants to hear from me often. He loves me and will listen when I pray. I know that He wants to bless me and that many blessings require me to show faith by praying and asking for them. I must do my part to receive those blessings and the answers I’m searching for. I can do my part by praying and asking in faith, reading the scriptures, fasting, and being patient. We may not always receive the answers that we want when we pray. We may not receive answers right away. Elder Robert D. Hales said, “We may not know when or how the Lord’s answers will be given, but in His time and His way, I testify, His answers will come.” I have faith that He listens and will answer me when I pray. He wants to take care of me. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Week #4- I can trust Heavenly Father to comfort me when I am scared.

Junior– I know that when I am scared the Lord will comfort me. I can pray to Him like the Jaredites did from their barges when they felt afraid. He will hear and answer my prayers, too. I will have faith and not be scared because of Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Senior– In D&C 6:36 we read, “Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not”. Sometimes in our lives we have fear. Maybe it is fear of taking a test or starting a new school year or even being afraid of the dark. The Lord responded to the Jaredites as they called out in prayer to Him when they felt afraid. He answered their prayers and kept them safe. I know that as I reach out in faith to Him, He will also calm my fears. He wants me to choose faith over fear and trust Him. Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf said, “Let us replace fear with Christ’s perfect love.” I have a testimony that Jesus loves me and will comfort me when I am scared. I know that my faith can help me overcome every fear. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
